How to Buy on pallet.bid
Two ways to buy: bid in auctions or purchase instantly with Buy It Now.
Auction Bidding
Place bids on timed auctions. The highest bidder when the timer ends wins the item. All bids are binding — your card on file is charged automatically when you win.
- Browse listings and find an auction you're interested in
- Enter your maximum bid amount and click 'Place Bid'
- You'll be notified if you're outbid so you can bid again
- If you're the highest bidder when the auction ends, you win
- Your card on file is charged: item price + 10% buyer's premium + shipping + tax + CC processing fee
Buy It Now
Skip the bidding and purchase immediately at a fixed price. Available on select listings marked with 'Buy It Now'.
- Find a listing with a Buy It Now price
- Click 'Buy Now' to purchase instantly
- Your card on file is charged immediately
- Shipping label is created and you'll receive tracking info
What You Pay
When you win an auction or buy an item, your total includes:

| Buyer's Premium (10%) | 10% of the item price — standard for auction platforms |
| Shipping | Parcel or freight rate based on weight, dimensions, and destination |
| Sales Tax | Calculated automatically based on your state (if applicable) |
| CC Processing Fee (2.9% + $0.40) | Payment processing — covers Stripe credit card fees |
Tips for Buyers
Add a Payment Method First
You need a card on file before you can bid or buy. Go to Profile > Payment Methods to add a credit or debit card.
Watch Items You Like
Add items to your watchlist to track them. You'll get notified when auctions you're watching are about to end.
Use Filters to Find Deals
Filter by listing type (pallets, items, equipment), condition, sale format, and sort by ending soon to find the best deals.
All Bids Are Binding
Every bid is a commitment to purchase. Don't bid more than you're willing to pay. Winning bidders who don't pay may have their accounts suspended.
